Latinos Love to Travel

[Español]

Latinos are great adventurers. We love to travel and visit new places. Our courage and curiosity have no limits. And we live in a big, wonderful world that is full of with interesting places and fascinating people. Just ask our favorite local historian and travel guide Serge Storms.

So if you are looking for adventure, explore the volcanoes of Costa Rica. Stay after dark to watch
the molten lava flow down the mountain.

Looking for a different kind of thrill? Visit the exciting city of Rio de Janeiro and enjoy the sunny beaches of Copacabana and Ipanema.

For something a bit more relaxing, visit the luxurious resorts of Puerto Vallarta, Acapulco, or Cancun in Mexico. Have a margarita and enjoy the sunset.

If you prefer a more active vacation, visit mi amigo Luis for a fantastic day of deep-sea fishing at Fish El Salvador to book All-Inclusive Deep Sea and Reef Fishing adventures in El Salvador, Central America.

Cancun

Or maybe you want to travel with the family for an exciting vacation in historic San Antonio. Visit the Alamo and Sea World. There is just so much to see and do. Explore it all.

Some of my favorite places are the modern cities that also retain their traditional charm. I love old cities like San Juan, Puerto Rico, Cartagena, Colombia, and San Miguel de Allende in Mexico. These are great places to travel and the people are fantastic.

San Miguel

Founded in 1542 by Juan de San Miguel, a Franciscan monk, San Miguel
de Allende retains a rich colonial charm with its cobblestone streets and beautiful mansions.

The thing most people notice first in San Miguel is the huge church in the heart of the city. Legend has it that the architect had never even seen a gothic church. He had to take his ideas from postcards of the cathedrals in Europe. He drew pictures in the dirt in front of the church to show the workmen his vision.

San Miguel de Allende has two major art institutes, numerous galleries and too many artists to count. Attracted by this atmosphere, there is also a large foreign community, lending a cosmopolitan flavor. Despite all of that, it's still very quiet and tranquil.

Can you imagine a town of 80,000 without one single traffic light?
